When checking in, search for the shop in the location step. If it doesn't appear in our database, we'll search Google Places automatically — just tap the result to add it.

By default, yes — your check-ins and profile are visible to other Scoopd users. You can make your profile private in your account settings.
Ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt (froyo), sorbet, sherbet, soft serve, and dairy-free alternatives are all supported.
